Khabane Lame fue declarado ganador del premio Personalidad de Internet del Año 'Rey de las Redes Sociales' en el evento de los Global Nubia Awards (GNAs) 2021, celebrado el 14 de noviembre. El popular fenómeno italiano de TikTok fue votado por el público como ganador en esta categoría especial, creada para reconocer y celebrar a los mejores y más destacados creadores de contenido de todo el mundo durante el año.
La lista de nominados incluía a varios creadores de contenido brillantes y famosos, entre los que se encontraban: Mr Beast, Charli D'Amelio, Bella Poarch, Pewdiepie, Addison Rae, James Charles y otros.
Khabby Lame recibió votos de un total de 47 países combinados, con la mayor cantidad de votos procedentes de Italia, España, Francia, Brasil, Estados Unidos, Filipinas, Senegal y más.
La revista Nubia se ha puesto en contacto con la gestión del fenómeno de las redes sociales para la entrega del trofeo del premio.
