Weltweit zweithöchstes Gebäude in Malaysia offiziell fertiggestellt (Fotos)
Wie auf den Fotos zu sehen ist, hat das zweithöchste Bauwerk der Welt endlich seine maximale Höhe erreicht. Die Spitze an der Spitze von Merdeka 118 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, wurde letzten Monat fertiggestellt, wodurch die Gesamthöhe des Wolkenkratzers auf 2.227 Fuß (678,9 Meter) steigt.
Damit ist er mehr als doppelt so hoch wie der Shard in London, der 1.017 Fuß (310 Meter) hoch ist. Der 118-stöckige Riese, der voraussichtlich bis Ende nächsten Jahres eröffnet werden soll, hat Chinas 2.073 Fuß (632 Meter) hohen Shanghai Tower als das zweithöchste Bauwerk der Welt entthront. Der Burj Khalifa in Dubai bleibt jedoch das höchste Gebäude der Welt mit 2.717 Fuß (828 Meter).
