纳瓦霍族保留地遗址重新开放（图片报道与速览）
纳瓦霍族保留地中的四个遗址——谢伊峡谷、纳瓦霍国家纪念碑、哈贝尔贸易站和四角纪念碑——在因疫情关闭一年多后，于近期重新向公众开放。
根据纳瓦霍族的COVID-19重新开放计划，部落内的景点和企业目前以50%的容量运营。
在所有室内公共场所和所有导游游览活动中，必须佩戴口罩。
纳瓦霍遗址是当今世界上最重要、最具历史意义的遗址之一。
纳瓦霍族是美国最大的部落，拥有超过30万人口，其保留地面积相当于西弗吉尼亚州。
从1939年的西部片《驿马车》到2013年失败的《独行侠》，保留地广阔的沙漠景观吸引了包括约翰·韦恩和约翰尼·德普在内的众多好莱坞巨星前来此地。
纳瓦霍土地上的风景是世界上最美丽的风景之一。
显然，好莱坞早已发现了这一点。
包括《回到未来3》和《阿甘正传》在内的至少12部电影曾在纪念碑谷取景，更不用说20世纪40年代和50年代的所有西部片了。
许多人没有意识到的是，纳瓦霍人一直生活在四座圣山之间的土地上，他们的经济一直以沙漠为基础。
纳瓦霍国家纪念碑
纳瓦霍国家纪念碑保护着三个可追溯到公元13世纪的主要普韦布洛遗址，以及该地区数千年来人类活动的考古证据。
贝塔塔金、基特塞尔和铭文屋都建在纳瓦霍砂岩层中凿出的巨大天然凹室里，为居民提供了住所和天然泉水。
在峡谷的河床上，祖先普韦布洛人猎捕野生动物，种植玉米、豆类和南瓜，使他们能够在这种高海拔沙漠气候中繁衍生息。
希萨特西诺姆人是建造这些建筑的霍皮人后裔。
祖尼人，同样是普韦布洛建筑者，知道他们的一些血统起源于这个地区。
后来，以篮子闻名的圣胡安南部派尤特人，定居在该地区，并居住在悬崖房屋附近。
该公园至今仍与纳瓦霍族保留地接壤，正如几个世纪以来一样。
