Fotoğraflarda görüldüğü gibi, dünyanın en yüksek ikinci yapısı nihayet maksimum yüksekliğine ulaştı. Malezya'nın Kuala Lumpur kentindeki Merdeka 118'in tepesindeki kule geçen ay tamamlandı ve gökdelenin toplam yüksekliğini 2.227 feet'e (678,9 metre) çıkardı.
Bu, onu Londra'daki 1.017 feet (310 metre) yüksekliğindeki Shard'ın yüksekliğinin iki katından daha fazla yapıyor. Gelecek yılın sonuna kadar açılması beklenen 118 katlı bu dev yapı, Çin'in 2.073 feet (632 metre) yüksekliğindeki Şanghay Kulesi'ni tahtından ederek dünyanın en yüksek ikinci yapısı oldu.
