Come si vede nelle foto, la seconda struttura più alta al mondo ha finalmente raggiunto la sua altezza massima. La guglia sulla cima del Merdeka 118 a Kuala Lumpur, in Malesia, è stata completata il mese scorso, portando l’altezza totale del grattacielo a 2.227 piedi (678,9 metri).
Questo lo rende più del doppio dell’altezza dello Shard a Londra, che raggiunge i 1.017 piedi (310 metri). Il mostro di 118 piani, che dovrebbe aprire entro la fine del prossimo anno, ha detronizzato la Shanghai Tower cinese, alta 2.073 piedi (632 metri), diventando la seconda struttura più alta al mondo.
