Lionel Messi a été déclaré vainqueur du Meilleur Joueur du Monde 2021 (Prix Roi du Football) lors de la cérémonie des Global Nubia Awards (GNAs) 2021 qui s'est tenue hier soir. La populaire star du football argentin et ancien capitaine du FC Barcelone a été élue par les fans de football du monde entier comme lauréat dans cette catégorie spéciale destinée à reconnaître et célébrer le joueur de football le plus exceptionnel et le plus influent de l'année.
La liste des nominés comprenait plusieurs brillantes et exceptionnelles stars du football, parmi lesquelles : Robert Lewandowski, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappé, Neymar Jr, Ngolo Kanté, Erling Haaland et bien d'autres.
Leo Messi a reçu des votes provenant d'un total de 111 pays à travers le monde, avec des votes venant de différentes régions du globe. Par conséquent, c'est officiel, Lionel Messi est le vainqueur du Prix Roi du Football 2021.
