Lionel Messi fue declarado ganador del Mejor Jugador del Mundo 2021 (Premio Rey del Fútbol) en el evento de los Global Nubia Awards (GNAs) 2021 que se celebró anoche. La popular estrella del fútbol argentino y ex capitán del FC Barcelona fue votado por aficionados al fútbol de todo el mundo como ganador en esta categoría especial destinada a reconocer y celebrar al jugador de fútbol más destacado e influyente del año.
La lista de nominados presentaba a varias brillantes y destacadas estrellas del fútbol, entre las que se incluían; Robert Lewandowski, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappé, Neymar Jr, Ngolo Kanté, Erling Haaland y muchos más.
Leo Messi recibió votos de un total de 111 países de todo el mundo, con votos procedentes de diferentes partes del planeta. Por lo tanto, es oficial: Lionel Messi es el ganador del Premio Rey del Fútbol 2021.
