تم الإعلان عن ليونيل ميسي فائزًا بجائزة أفضل لاعب في العالم لعام 2021 (جائزة ملك كرة القدم) في حفل جوائز نوبيا العالمية (GNAs) 2021 الذي أقيم ليلة أمس. تم التصويت للنجم الأرجنتيني الشعبي وقائد برشلونة السابق من قبل مشجعي كرة القدم حول العالم ليفوز بهذه الفئة الخاصة التي تهدف إلى تكريم والاحتفاء بأبرز وأكثر لاعب كرة قدم تأثيرًا خلال العام.
